Privacy policy
SourceDeploy is intentionally privacy-light. We do not run analytics, advertising pixels, behavioural tracking or profiling on this website. If you visit the site, we only process the technical data required to deliver it. If you contact us, we process the information you send so we can respond to your inquiry.

If you have any questions about this privacy policy or how your data is handled, you can contact us at the email address above.
2. What data we collect
We only collect personal data when it is necessary to operate this website or when you actively provide it to us. This may include:
- your name
- your email address
- your company name
- your message or project details
- any other information you choose to send to us
This data is collected when you contact us by email or through the contact form on this website.
3. Hosting and server log files
This website is hosted by Netlify, Inc., USA. When you visit the website, Netlify automatically processes basic technical information required to deliver it securely and reliably. This may include:
- IP address
- date and time of access
- requested page or file
- browser type and version
- operating system
- referrer URL
- technical access status
This data is used for website delivery, security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention. It is not used for marketing, analytics or profiling. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in operating a secure and functional website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
4. Contact form and inquiries
If you use the contact form, the information you enter (name, email address, company, message) and the page you sent it from are transmitted to our hosting provider Netlify (Netlify Forms), stored there and forwarded to us by email. If you contact us by email, we process the information contained in your message.
We use this information to respond to your inquiry, discuss potential projects, prepare offers or provide requested information. The legal basis is pre-contractual communication or contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
The form contains an invisible field to filter out spam bots. We do not use CAPTCHAs, and we do not use your inquiry for unrelated marketing without your consent.
5. Cookies
We use a single, technically necessary cookie: sd_locale stores the language you choose in the language switcher (German or English), so the website opens in that language on your next visit. It is stored for one year and contains no other information.
We use a self-hosted consent tool. It stores your cookie choice in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again on your next visit; you can change it at any time via "Cookie settings" in the footer. We currently do not use analytics cookies, advertising cookies, tracking pixels or similar technologies.
6. Fonts and external resources
All fonts and scripts needed to display this website are hosted on our own server. When you open a page, no fonts, scripts or other content are loaded from third-party servers such as Google.
Videos on this website are hosted by Bunny Stream (BunnyWay d.o.o., Slovenia). The video player is only loaded after you click play. Only then is your IP address, together with technical information about your browser and device, transmitted to Bunny so the video can be streamed. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in showing videos efficiently (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
To book the free 20-minute talk we use Cal.com (Cal.com, Inc., USA). The booking calendar is only loaded after you click a booking button. Only then is your IP address, together with technical information about your browser and device, transmitted to Cal.com. If you book an appointment, Cal.com processes the details you enter (such as name, email address and your message) on our behalf to schedule the meeting. The legal basis is pre-contractual communication (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in efficient appointment scheduling (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
7. Analytics
We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, TikTok Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag or similar analytics or tracking services.
8. Links to external websites
This website may include links to external websites. If you click on an external link, the privacy policy of the respective provider applies.

Business inquiries may be stored for as long as needed to respond, manage potential or existing business relationships, comply with legal obligations or document communication. If no business relationship results from an inquiry, the data is deleted once it is no longer needed.
